To use the Ratepay API, you need two pieces of information for authentication:

• Profile ID (PROFILE_ID): Your unique identifier provided by Ratepay.

• Security Code (SECURITY_CODE): A secret key for securing your transactions.

These credentials must be included in every XML request sent to the API.
